Hi! My name is Madeline!
I'm a trans woman from New Zealand who spends her time making silly things :3
I didn't have much access to the internet or even a computer until highschool, so I missed out on a lot of things as a kid. My very first console was a Nintendo Switch that I bought myself in 2020. And probably because of this I was always obsessed with Retro Gaming. I like to say that I have "second-hand nostalgia" for it, since I never grew up with it.

I also love early internet aesthetics and retro computing, which you can probably tell from my Youtube Channel, where I have spent a lot of effort to make it look like I am using an old Windows 7 Computer to stream (thankfully I did at least grow up with that).

I used to make games with Game Maker: Studio, but never really finished anything. I'm pretty sure I have an Itch.io page floating around somewhere that has a few games, I might link it if I find it. I got kinda burnt out with it, I suppose. I haven't made any for years at this point, but I do want to get back into it at sometime - but using Godot instead.

Anyway, here's me with a zelda hat :3

Hobbies:

  • Retro Game Collecting: I like to collect old game things! At the moment I have an n64, Game Cube, Wii, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, New 3DS XL and a PS2
  • Gaming: I also like to play these old consoles and games that i get! Pikmin 2 is one of my favourite games ever and I've been really enjoying TLOZ: The Wind Waker :3
  • Music: I love listening to music and have a built up a bit of a vinyl record collection over the last year or so
  • Making Things: it doesn't really matter what, I will just get the urge to make stuff. This website was one of those things, same with that dancing gif next to this :3

  • Games: Pikmin 2, Night in the Woods, Dwarf Fortress, Rain World, Portal 2, TUNIC, ULTRAKILL, Baldurs Gate 3, LoZ:BotW/TotK
  • Movies: Dune part 1 & 2, Godzilla -1.0, Tenet, Transformers 2007
  • Console: Game Cube - Its just so silly and cube! also it has Pikmin 2 so its immediately better than anything else
  • Season: Spring, because i like being warm, but not too warm, and I dont get hayfever so i am safe :3
  • Foods: Lasagna, Pizza, Burgers, Prawns, Garlic Bread
